Integration into Machines and Production Systems
Many of our customers integrate Sax Lift scissor lift tables directly into their own machines and production systems. In these cases, specific electrical components and configurations may be required, depending on the final design and integration needs.

For this reason, we refer to these configurations as UL solutions—a term that is widely recognized across industrial environments.
As standard, lift tables configured for UL component integration are equipped with:
- 3x480V – 60Hz pumps
- UL Recognized electrical components (component-level)
In addition, the lift table can be delivered in two different configurations depending on your integration needs:
• With a control system / control box and CE certification
• With a Terminal Block and Declaration of Incorporation (DoI, not CE certified), allowing integration into a final machine where the overall control system is implemented.
1. Lift Table with Control System – CE Marked
This version includes a built‑in control system and UL Recognized components. The lift table is CE‑marked according to EN 1570‑1:2024.

Ideal for: Companies wanting a complete solution with minimal integration work.

Choose this option if you want a more complete lift table configuration with built-in control, CE marking (EN 1570-1:2024), and minimal need for external control integration.
This solution is ideal for industrial environments where reliable electrical components and compliance with relevant European safety standards are important.

The lift table/build is not UL Listed as a complete unit. The table/build is CE marked in accordance with EN 1570-1:2024.
2. Lift Table with Terminal Block – for Machine Integration
This version is delivered without a built‑in control system. It is designed to be integrated into a larger machine or PLC system and delivered with Declaration of Incorporation
Benefits:
- Direct I/O access via terminal block
- Flexible integration into existing control systems
- UL Recognized components
Ideal for: Customers who want full control through their own PLC or machine control system.
Why choose this solution (Terminal Block)?
Choose this option if you want direct I/O access without built-in control, allowing the lift table to be operated by your existing machine or PLC for simple and flexible integration.
The lift table is delivered with its inputs and outputs (I/O) on terminals, while your control system provides the required logic, interlocks, and operating sequence.
This solution is ideal for industrial applications where the lift table forms part of a larger system and is controlled by the customer’s existing control platform.
Please note:
The lift table/build is not UL Listed as a complete unit. It is delivered as an I/O terminal solution without built-in control logic and must be integrated into another machine or PLC, where the final control logic and safety interlocks are implemented.
Therefore, it is not CE marked as a complete unit.
FAQ
No, the lift table is not UL Listed. UL references apply to electrical components only. The complete machine is not UL Listed and is not certified to UL 508A or UL 2011 as a finished product.
It means that certain electrical components used in the system have UL Recognized, component-level approvals. It does not mean that the complete machine is UL Listed.
It depends on the selected solution:
• UL Components – Control System: The table/build is CE marked in accordance with EN 1570-1:2024
• UL Terminal Block Package: The table/build is not CE marked as a complete unit
The two solutions are designed for different integration needs:
- One provides a built-in control system and CE marking
- The other provides I/O terminals without control logic for easy integration into other machines or PLC systems.
Both solutions use UL Recognized electrical components at component level.
